This exciting tournament continues to feature competitive Boys and Girls teams in age groups U10-U19 from Florida and around the Southeast. USF Women’s Soccer games scheduled for September 4th & 6th will be part of the FUSION FC Tournament. USF Women’s Head Coach Denise Schilte-Brown will offer a free lecture on Saturday evening on college recruitment and empowering women through sport!

Fusion FC Night with the FC Tampa Bay Rowdies

Fusion FC teams bring your friends and families out to watch your Tampa Bay Rowdies take on AC St. Louis on Sunday August 29th. Teams that attend will be escorted onto the field to watch pre-game warm ups and participate in pre-game ceremonies. Pre-game Ceremonies are filled on a first come basis. Fusion FC 2010 COMPETITIVE Summer Camps
THE FUSION FC WILL OFFER 3 WEEKS OF COMPETIVE SOCCER CAMPS:
July 5-9, 2010 July 19-23, 2010 July 26-30, 2010
9am – Noon @ the Fusion 30th Street Fields
This camp will be for boys and girls ages 7-14 - Cost is $95 **
**$75 for players attending their 2nd camp.

NEW ADVANCED USASA ADULT COACHING LICENSE COURSE
7/29/10 through 8/1/10
This USASA coaching license course is designed to train amateur coaches in current coaching methodology, team administration and player preparation for all levels of competition. The better we train our coaches the better our teams and players will be. It has been proven that teams led by certified coaches are more successful. USASA has launched this successful program offering a condensed USSF approved course (3 ½ days) to train and license coaches.
July 29 to August 1, 2010 @ Fusion Futbol Club 30th Street Fields
Course limited to 30 students (first-come, first-serve).

3rd Annual Fusion FC vs. FL Rush Challenge

Director of Soccer Operations, Jim DiNobile, announces the 3rd Annual Fusion FC vs. FL Rush Challenge has been scheduled for August 21, 2010 @ the Fusion 30th Street Fields in Tampa.
This will bring together two of the best Youth Soccer Clubs in Florida for their day of annual challenge games that will be for the u13-18 boys and girls teams. Detailed game schedule to be posted soon!
1st Annual Fusion Futbol Competitive Banquet

On 4/27/10 300 members of the Fusion competitive family came together for the 1st Annual Fusion FC Competitive Banquet to enjoy each other’s company and celebrate the successes of our first inaugural season. Besides a kitchen equipment snafu delaying some food, it was a great event. The highlight of the night was meeting and hearing words of wisdom form FC Tampa Rowdies Head Coach, Paul Dalglish, and Team Captain, Julian Valentin, and teammate, Aaron Wheeler - about how Coach Dalglish is developing this team, their daily training schedule, the importance of fitness, the commitment required to achieve higher levels of play, etc. Too bad we had limited time that night because the great questions coming from the audience and the personal sharing from our guests, we could have continued for hours. Teams were recognized, an abundance of raffle prizes were won by many and the night ended with “Soccer” by Sydney. Click here to see photos.

Rowdies Supporter Club Program
The professional soccer team, the Tampa Bay Rowdies, are back! The original Rowdies were a professional team established 1975 in Tampa. Three of our very own Fusion FC coaches were Rowdies players: Steve Wegerle, Winston DuBose & Alan Anderson. The team played ten seasons at Tampa Stadium, “The Big Sombrero”, and won their only Soccer Bowl championship in their inaugural season. The original Rowdies did great things off the field as well. Now, the Rowdies want to continue to cultivate their impact on the soccer community in Tampa Bay.

Coach Roland Moldovan Earns National B License
Congratulations to Coach Roland Moldovan for recently earning his National B license. What a tremendous accomplishment!! Great job, Coach Roland!!
The United States Soccer Federation offers three National Licenses: C, B and A. The B License is a residential nine day intensive coaching education curriculum of classroom lectures, field sessions and testing; written, oral and coaching field practice sessions. The focus of the B License is to present both technical and tactical topics involving group play that enables the coach candidate to prepare their team in each phase of the game. The USSF B License is the second highest National License it offers for its Coaching candidates.
