Fusion Futbol Club of Tampa Bay Grand Opening was held the afternoon of April 26, 2009.  Guest speaker, John Hackworth, shared with 250 club members how the coming together of the Black Watch Soccer Club and New Tampa Soccer Association were exactly what is needed to advance youth soccer in the United States.  Some may know Coach Hackworth from his days as USF Men’s Soccer Head Coach.  He is currently an Assistant Coach of the US Men’s National Team and the Technical Director of the US Academy program in the United States and has the mission of helping the advancement of youth soccer in the United States.

Jim DiNobile, the Fusion FC Director of Soccer Operations, shared what he and Mauricio Pesaresi, Boys DOC, and Daniel Greco Boys Assistant DOC, are working on for the 2009-2010 season, the first inagural season of the Fusion Futbol Club.  Jose Torres, Fusion FC Director of Administration, shared information about uniforms, tryouts and proposed program fees.  It was a great event and we were glad we had the opportunity to share our enthusiasm with all that attendeded.
