The gold star at the top of the Fusion FC logo stands for one national championship.  In 1985 the Black Watch Heather team (U16 girls) won the National Championship for their age group.  

When clubs (whether youth, amateur or professional levels) can tout a national championship, many times it is represented by a star in their logos.

Here’s hoping for a 2nd star some day.  GO FUSION!! 

P.S.  That is why the Fusion FC car maget is oval shaped - to accommodate the star.  But if your vehicle doesn’t have enough space for the oval magnet, it is okay to cut around the circle portion of the logo.
