The following will be required from each team: 
  • All players must be properly registered/rostered to their team as defined by the rules of their respective state association.
     
  • Each team must submit an original roster plus two (2) copies*. The official FYSA roster is the preferred roster. If not the FYSA roster, the team must provide a certified/approved tournament roster from the team’s Federation Organization.
     
  • U-16 through U-19 teams may have up to 22 players rostered however, must declare 18 players per game. *An original roster (plus two copies) plus an additional roster will be required for each game if there are any changes in players that will be playing in games during the tournament.
     
  • Each team will be allowed up to four (4) guest players. Guest players from within the same club and added electronically to the official FYSA roster will be accepted provided the number on the roster does not exceed tournament requirements. Players not on the official FYSA team roster must submit the completed and signed guest player forms attached to each roster (original plus two copies). This information must also be written on the original roster and included on each of the copies.
     
  • Player/coach/assistant coach/team manager passes must be issued by the team’s governing body, and must be current and valid indicating player name, State association registration number and date of birth. Passes must be birth date verified, properly signed, current photo attached and laminated. Birth date not verified passes must be accompanied by a copy of the player’s birth certificate which will be retained by the tournament.
     
  • Please note: the tournament allows only 3 coaches/assistant coaches/team managers on the players’ sidelines during each game. They must have a current valid coach pass and be listed on the team roster.
  NO PASS, NO PLAY, NO EXCEPTIONS
 
In addition to the above requirements:
  • The team shall present current notarized medical release forms for each player.
     
  • The official team roster shall include a list of uniform numbers for each player.
     
  • It is the responsibility of the team coach/manager at this time to advise the tournament check in committee of any player(s) on the game roster not present, ineligible to play, players serving suspensions and those wearing casts. No casts are permitted.
     
  • Player/coach passes will be held by the tournament throughout the weekend. Any passes not picked up after the team’s last game will be subject to a $25 mailing fee.
     
  • Teams not present at check in will take the chance to be subject to a possible delay in game/forfeit and/or disqualification if the team’s credentials are not in order accordingly. Teams that will not be able to attend check in must have prior approval from Tournament Director.

This exciting tournament continues to feature competitive Boys and Girls teams in age groups U10-U19 from Florida and around the Southeast.  Come enjoy the last days of summer and the start of a new soccer season with Fusion Futbol Club!

USF Women’s Soccer

 USF Women’s Soccer games scheduled for Friday, September 3rd & Sunday, September 5th will be part of the FUSION FC Tournament.  Tickets will be offered at discounted prices.

USF Women’s Head Coach Denise Schilte-Brown will offer a free lecture on Saturday, September 4th at 7:30 on college recruitment and empowering women through sport!  The seminar will be held at the Host Hotel - Hilton Garden Inn Tampa North (13305 Tampa Oaks Boulevard, Tampa, Florida, 33637)

Field Locations & Age Group Assignments - FINAL

Field locations for the 2010 Fusion FC Labor Day Tournament are all along the I-75 corridor making for easy access to the fields and to tournament hotels.  The following are field assignments for all age groups.  These are the final field assigments (except if any need to be moved for bad weather or field conditions).  Changed from our initial projections are in red below.

TOURNAMENT FEES

The tournament fees are the same as last season’s tournament and are as follows:

U10 - $375.00
U11 - U12 - $475.00
U13 - U19 - $625.00

Please add $25.00 if you are registering after the tournament application deadline extended to 8/22/10.  Although the official application deadline is not until 8/22/10, applications come in quickly and some age groups fill prior to that date.  Please don’t wait.
