National Signing Day for Two Fusion Seniors
A great day for two of our Fusion seniors. Baylee Dozark signed her committment to attend and play soccer for Emory & Henry College in Virginia. And Kaycee McGuire committed to also play at Thomas University in Georgia. Both ladies are proud members of the U18g Blue team coached by Alan Anderson. Congratulations! All you hard work is paying off.

Fusion Futures (for boys & girls ages 6-12)
2/7/12 - 3/6/12 (plus 3/8 rain date, if needed)
Back by popular demand, Fusion Futures will begin 2/7/12.
The program will be on Tuesdays & Thursdays evenings, 2/7/12 through 3/6/11.
The FUSION FUTURES program is for boys and girls ages 6-12 who are looking to improve and receive top level training from our experienced and US Soccer Nationally Licensed coaches. The objective of the program is to develop each player’s technical ability and knowledge of the game, through an environment of fun soccer activities and games.

Spring League
Tuesday & Thursdays, 4/3/12 - 5/3/12
Starting in April the Fusion FC Spring League is back for all players ages U5 through U16, boys & girls. This mini-season is intended to provide players an opportunity to continue to play soccer in a fun, less structured format. Teams will be co-ed, recreational and competitive players together, and grouped by age.
When: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 4/3/12 through 5/3/12 - no practices and no weekend games.

Fusion FC & Clearwater Chargers Set to Merge
May, 2012
We are very excited to share with you that the Fusion Futbol Club and the Clearwater Chargers Soccer Club will merge in time for competitive tryouts at the end of May, 2012. Two of the oldest and most tradition-rich youth soccer clubs in Florida - the Clearwater Chargers and Fusion FC - are pleased to announce a merger to become “Chargers Soccer Club”, effective with tryouts at the end of May 2012. The merger will provide soccer opportunities to youth players throughout the TampaBay region with programs and fields in Pinellas, Hillsborough and Manatee counties, covering all sides of TampaBay.

Goalkeeper Training for Fusion Jr. Teams
Resumes Tuesday 1/17/12 (1/10 CANCELLED)
Happy 2012! As a reminder, goalkeeper training resumes next Tuesday (and all subsequent Tuesdays) ( January 10 cancelled) January 17, for all comp teams U9-14. Please pass this on to all your goalkeepers, and their families. Good goalkeeping is critical for your teams’ success in the second half of the year, with Cup play in all its forms looming. U16b Blue Champions at IMG Cup
12/9/11 - 12/11/11
Congratulations to the U16b Blue team coached by Boys DOC, Mauricio Pesaresi, for being the Champions of the IMG Cup this past weekend!
On Friday, the U16b Blue team were rostered challenged due to the conflicts with the high school commitments. They lost their first group play game (1-3) to Parkland Predators. Saturday & Sunday were different stories.

U10b Champs at Bazooka Tournament
October 15-16, 2011
The U10 boys team participated in the Bazooka tournament the weekend of October 15th and 16th. They soundly won their semi-final and worked very hard as a team to win the final, 3-2. Thanks to Coach KC and Dave for keeping the boys motivated and focused.

Field Work Day A Great Success!!

On Sunday, October 23 there was a great turnout for the Fusion FC Workday!! The Fusion Board, Coaches, Team Managers, Players, Parents, Bothers & Sisters and Friends all rolled up their sleeves and put some elbow grease into cleaning and decorating the clubhouse, concessions stand, sheds, putting new ALLSTATE NETS on the goals, filling potholes, painting the team benches, clubhose, parking poles, filling sandbags, trimming trees and bushes, mending the fences and much more!
